IntegrityBC releases voter questions for Premier and NDP leader

(Victoria, 16 May 2011) – IntegrityBC released two videos today: one addressed to Premier Christy Clark, and the other to NDP leader Adrian Dix. The videos launch the organization’s VoxPop feature.
Both videos are a series of questions posed to Premier Clark and Dix by voters in Victoria-Beacon Hill and Vancouver-Point Grey about issues facing British Columbians. The videos are posted on IntegrityBC’s YouTube site.

IntegrityBC has asked both leaders to reply to these questions by video. If and when the answers are received they will also be posted to the organization’s YouTube site.

While Premier Clark failed to respond to our candidate questionnaire for the Vancouver-Point Grey byelection, she now has the opportunity to answer the questions directed to her, as does Dix.

The answers that both leaders provide will help restore a link between British Columbians and BC politicians to further enhance government accountability.

As part of its VoxPop feature, IntegrityBC invites British Columbians to submit their video questions for their MLAs. The organization will strive to solicit video responses to such questions and both the original question and response will be posted. VoxPop is intended to re-engage BC voters with their elected representatives.
